Circular Norway, by the CEO, is responsible for the how the compay are handeling the personal data. It is optional for those who visit the website to provide personal information in connection with services such as receiving newsletters or becoming a member. The basis of the process is consent from individual, unless otherwise is specified.
1. Web Analytics and Cookies
As an important part in creating a user-friendly website, we look at the user pattern of those who visit the site. To analyze the information, we use the Google Analytics as a tool.
An IP address is defined as a personal information because it can be traced back to a specific hardware and thus to an individual. Circular Norway anonymizes the user's IP address before the information is stored and processed by Google. Thus, the anonymized IP address cannot be used to identify the individual user.
Your IP address is also logged for a short period by our web servers. The user's IP address, time, URL, HTTP status, number of bytes sent, HTTP referrer and HTTP user agent are logged for 60 days. Then the log is automatically deleted.
Our newsletters are based on agreement. Our newsletters offer news on all our fields, services and reports. Our newsletters also offer information about our and others' current conferences, courses and events. In connection with newsletter sign-up, we collect e-mail address. We do not share your email address with other businesses and it will be deleted when we are notified that you no longer wish to receive information from us. The email address will also be deleted if we receive feedback that it is no longer active. MailChimp is the data processor for the newsletter. In connection with sending out newsletters, we keep statistics on usage, how many read and what is read. We do this to give our readers the most relevant issues.

If you are registered as a member or recipient of a newsletter with us, you are entitled to access your own personal data. You can also request correction or deletion of defective or incorrect information. Your claim will be processed free of charge and within 30 days.
